Hi all!!! Welcome to my blog. Whether you are here to learn something about your favorite musical artist, laugh at a grammar/punctuation error of mine, creep up on some 14 year old (who happens to be very attractive:)) or pretend that you actually care about my school projects in Language Arts, WELCOME!! My name is Harm. Yes Harm. You spell and say it as if you were telling someone you’re going to harm them. Harm is not pronounced “Ham”, it isn’t short for Harmon, Herman, Hermit or Herm. It’s just Harm.
If you can’t tell from my blog title and background, I am in love with music. Seriously. I’m in love. If music were a person I would get married to it then divorce it only to remarry it again. I LOVE MUSIC.
Ever since I was very young, I have always enjoyed listening to music, singing music and playing music. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash. My love for his sound began to grow at an extremely young age. As time went on I expanded my musical interests to a wide variety of musicians from the 1930’s up until now. My most favorite musical era would definitely be the 4ish decades stretching from the late 1950’s to the year of 2000. That 40ish year period covers some of the best musical artists at their finest time in history. Elvis, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Bob Wills, Michael Jackson, Patsy Cline, The beatles, Rolling stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Al Green, Notorious B.I.G, The Eagles, Willie Nelson, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Boyz II Men, you name it, I love it!
Music is one of those things that can always be a conversation starter. It is my mission with this blog to inform you about some of your favorite musical artists, learn more about some of the greatest musicians of all time, give you some pretty sweet facts about music over the years and share with you some of my most favorite experiences with music.
Welcome to Music Through the ages!!
Thanks for visiting!!
~Harm:)
